A set of eight suitably inventive stamps chart Britain’s long history of imaginative leaps and far-reaching ingenuity. All the imagery, in one way or another, express the overarching idea that ‘brilliance is beautiful’.

The stamps are appropriately organised in Se-Tenant pairs. Although they are visual expressions of specific, related breakthroughs, they were all art-directed to collectively resemble small pieces of abstract art.
