EUROSTAR.
The Tranquility of the Train.
The train is the most intelligent way to travel to Paris, Lille or Brussels. Back in the 2000s, we worked with Eurostar and succeeded in making it most entertaining, glamorous and human too… for a while.
EUROSTAR.
The Elegance of Intelligence.
We relaunched their international service in 2004 with a £35m facelift under artistic director Philippe Starck. The vision was to introduce ‘the elegance of intelligence’ into all areas of the customer journey; interiors, onboard, catering, uniforms and all communications.
THE FIRST-CLASS LOUNGE.
EUROSTAR.
A Theatre of Travel.
The city centre to city centre service provides a seamless experience compared to the stop-start of a plane– a unique chance for us to create an uninterrupted dose of Eurostar magic wherever you are on your journey.

For Frequent Travellers.
The loyalty scheme was simplified and dropped its bronze, silver, gold convention for a two-tier future; ‘Frequent Traveller’ and ‘Carte Blanche’. Membership cards for the entry-level teased a glimpse of the white Carte Blanche top tier card via Thermograpgiuc Ink.
ENTRY-LEVEL & CARTE BLANCHE MEMBERSHIP.
SELECTED FREQUENT TRAVELLER COMMUNICATIONS.
COMMUNICATIONS.
Chic, Mischievous & Charming.
Timetable designs were changed four times a year and an approach with longevity and flexibility was devised using a growing library of imagery.
PHOTOGRAPHY.
Surreal and Playful Imagery.
High contrast black and white provides an almost film-noir personality to all communications.
SIGNAGE FROM THE DEDICATED BUSINESS PREMIER TICKET AREA.
ANNOUNCING THE CHANGES.
The Press-Kit.
In keeping, a music box Press-Kit was created to enchant top-level media and inform of the train operator’s infrastructure changes. A 4 inch model of a business traveller reclining in Starck’s new First-Class Lounge chair replaced the ballerina and gently twirled to ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’.
ON-BOARD CATERING.
Silver Service with a Wink.
Trompe l’oeil imagery from a romantic age combined with modern disposable practicality to entertain diners on-board.
